United Financial Credit Union is proud to announce the successful completion of its Coats for Kids campaign, which took place this past October in partnership with WIOG 102.5 and WJRT TV 12. The community-driven initiative aimed to collect winter clothing donations for children in need throughout Saginaw and Bay Counties.

Thanks to the generosity of United Financial Credit Union members, staff, and the community, over 400 gently used and new coats, snow pants, hats, gloves, boots, and other winter gear were collected. All donations were delivered to the Salvation Army in Saginaw and Bay Counties, where they were distributed to local children in need of help to ensure they stay warm during the winter months.

“We are thrilled by the overwhelming support we received for this year’s Coats for Kids campaign,” said Brianne Fournier, Marketing Assistant of United Financial Credit Union. “This campaign truly reflects our mission to work together and give back to our community. We are grateful to all of our members, staff, and local businesses for their participation in making this initiative a success.”

The Coats for Kids campaign is just one example of how United Financial Credit Union continues to live out its founding principles of cooperation and community support. The credit union’s commitment to the local area goes beyond financial services, and this year’s fundraiser is a testament to the impact of working together for the common good.

United Financial Credit Union remains dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of its members and the greater community.
